MIAMI (AP) — Former Miami Dolphins player and broadcaster Jim Mandich has died at age 62.

He died Tuesday after battling bile duct cancer, the Dolphins said.

Mandich played tight end for the undefeated 1972 Dolphins and when they repeated as Super Bowl champions in 1973.

Mandich was also a college star at Michigan, leading the Wolverines to the 1970 Rose Bowl. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004.

He played eight seasons with the Dolphins before ending his career with Pittsburgh Steelers, where he played one season. As an announcer, Mandich won a wide following for his unabashed support for the Dolphins and his signature call “All right, Miami!”
