The Columbian

I’m wondering about plant sales coming up in May. Are there any that you know of locally?

I hope you make it to the Clark Public Utilities Home & Idea Fair on April 29 through May 1 at the Clark County fairgrounds. See the Columbian’s garden calendar below for hours.

On the same weekend, the Wildlife Botanical Garden is hosting its annual tree and shrub sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 30 and May 1 at 11000 N.E. 149th St., Brush Prairie. It’s on the west end of the Center for Agriculture & Scientific Environmental Education on 149th St.

Also coming is the huge master gardener plant sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 7 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 8 at the WSU Agricultural Research and Extension Unit in Hazel Dell, 1919 N.E. 78th St., across from Grover’s Electric. This sale has it all. Master gardener volunteers work all year to prepare.
