BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Roberta Vinci of Italy got within one win of her third straight Barcelona Open final after dispatching Virginie Razzano of France 6-4, 6-1 Thursday.

Vinci won Barcelona in her debut in 2009 and was runner-up at the clay-court tournament last year.

The sixth-seeded Vinci has yet to drop a set this year and will next face either Polona Hercog of Slovenia or Laura Pous-Tio of Spain. Hercog was leading their quarterfinal 6-5 when it was suspended because of rain,

The fifth-seeded Sara Errani, the highest seeded player left in the event, broke last week’s Fez champion Alberta Brianti six times in winning their all-Italian quarterfinal 6-2, 6-3.

Errani will play Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic, who beat qualifier Estrella Cabeza Candela of Spain 6-4, 6-4, winning the last six games.
