PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A former federal probation officer has pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual abuse after admitting he forced a woman he supervised to have sex with him.

The Oregonian reports that 52-year-old Mark Walker of Eugene also pleaded guilty Thursday to four misdemeanor counts involving fondling and kissing four other female offenders under his supervision.

A federal prosecutor said the government was prepared to show evidence that Walker singled out women with mental health problems or histories of sexual abuse.

The prosecutor said Walker often arranged to visit the women he was supervising when they were home alone.

One victim has filed a federal lawsuit against Walker in U.S. District Court in Eugene. Other victims have notified the government of their claims against him.
