MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin men’s basketball coach Bo Ryan has received an extension on his contract that now runs through the 2015-16 season.

Terms were not disclosed Friday.

Ryan finished his 10th season with the Badgers in March, reaching the regional semifinals before losing to Butler and finishing 25-9. Ryan’s teams have made the NCAA tournament every year he’s been at Wisconsin and he is 625-194 in his 27-year career, including a 242-91 mark with the Badgers.

Before taking the job at Wisconsin, the 63-year-old coach spent two years at Wisconsin-Milwaukee and 15 years at Division III Wisconsin-Platteville.

While at Platteville, he won four NCAA championships, including two undefeated seasons.
