SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Los Angeles Dodgers put right-hander Rubby De La Rosa on the 15-day disabled list Monday due to elbow inflammation.
The Dodgers recalled right-hander John Ely from Triple-A Albuquerque.
De La Rosa was 4-5 in 10 starts for the Dodgers, posting a 3.71 ERA over 60 2-3 innings. Manager Don Mattingly said De La Rosa had an MRI and will be evaluated further before any determination is made on his return.
Ely made one start for the Dodgers in April, taking the loss after allowing four runs in 5 2-3 innings, and was also recalled in June for a relief appearance.
