Wash.: 1 lake death, 1 missing in river

SEATTLE (AP) -- Authorities say a 19-year-old Everett man is missing and presumed drowned in the Stillaguamish River in Snohomish County and a Kirkland paddleboarder has died after he was pulled unconscious from Lake Washington.

KOMO says several Kirkland residents rushed to find and begin CPR on 35-year-old Tyrone Fabroa after he went under shortly before noon Monday. He was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

Snohomish County sheriff's Lt. Susy Johnson tells The Daily Herald that the Everett man was reported missing in the river northwest of Arlington about 6:30 p.m. Monday. He was not immediately identified by name. A search was halted late Monday night but expected to resume Tuesday.
