KITZBUEHEL, Austria (AP) — Top-seeded Juan Ignacio Chela defeated Daniel Gimeno-Traver of Spain 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 Wednesday to reach the quarterfinals of the Bet-at-Home Cup.
The Argentine came from 4-2 down to win the opening set. He broke Gimeno-Traver once more in the third.
Chela, who lost in the first round of his past two clay-court tournaments, will play Marcel Granollers or Antonio Veic.
Sixth-seeded Andreas Seppi beat Pere Riba of Spain 7-5, 6-4. The Italian won five straight games from 5-2 down in the opening set.
Seppi will play either second-seeded Feliciano Lopez or Robin Haase in the quarterfinals.
