EDMONDS, Wash. (AP) — A sand sculpture contest drew about 60 groups to the beach at Edmonds Monday to build castles and other sculptures.
First-place winners in various categories won a bucket of taffy from the free event sponsor, Nama’s Candy Store.
The Daily Herald reports (http://bit.ly/py5P9G ) one group of five teens won for their sculpture of a sea monster they called “Jason Lizard Steamy.”
