Logger dies in Coos County accident

COQUILLE, Ore. (AP) -- The Coos County sheriff's office says a 27-year-old Myrtle Point man died in a logging accident near Coquille.
The Oregonian newspaper reports (http://bit.ly/nY1GXR ) that deputies were told that Justin Tyler was sitting on the log deck Tuesday with another employee when one log struck an alder tree that was already down. Deputies say it flipped up and struck Tyler in the head.
