DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) — Ruler of Dubai defeated Three Vases by a head to win the $100,000 Graduation Stakes for California-bred 2-year-olds on Wednesday at Del Mar.
Ridden by Garrett Gomez, Ruler of Dubai covered 512 furlongs in 1:04.48 and paid $31.80, $14.60 and $7.40 for his second win in four starts.
Three Vases returned $10.40 and $5.80, while Rousing Sermon paid $4.40 to show.
