KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Missouri will face Notre Dame and California will Georgia in the semifinals of the CBE Classic.

The 12-team event will culminate with the semifinals at the Sprint Center on Nov. 21 with the championship game in Nov. 22.

The early round matchups will be announced at a later date.

The event is named after the College Basketball Experience, an interactive fan facility that features the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. The tournament, in partnership with the National Association of Basketball Coaches, started in 2001 as the Guardians Classic.

Last year, Duke beat Kansas State 82-68 in the final between teams ranked first and fourth in the nation.
