BEAVERTON, Ore. (AP) — A crash near Beaverton, Ore., involving a van and an ambulance sent four people to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries.
Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue spokesman Peter Scott says two Newberg medics and a patient in the ambulance were treated at the scene on Thursday afternoon and taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The van’s driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken from the scene by helicopter
Scott says the van’s driver had an extensive extrication process that included removing the van’s engine.
