SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. (AP) — A Sedro-Woolley man was driving down a road Thursday when he noticed something that turned out to be a dead 16-foot-long python.
Lino Silva and his friend Nick Pfeifer told the Skagit Valley Herald (http://bit.ly/rkUijC ) Pfeifer skinned the road kill snake and plans to use the skin to make a jacket or a vest.
He says he learned how to skin a python by watching the Discovery Channel.
They believe the python must have been a pet that escaped or was released.
