WSU Vancouver closing admissions for fall

As of 5 p.m. Monday, Washington State University Vancouver will no longer accept new undergraduate freshmen and transfer applications for fall.

The fall term begins Aug. 22.

“By employing an application deadline, we can better serve new students. We want to make sure we have adequate time to receive and evaluate our applicants’ transcripts and allow our applicants time to meet with an adviser before classes begin. Ultimately, we want to ensure students a smooth transition into their university experience,” said Nancy Youlden, vice chancellor for student affairs.

Former students returning (students previously enrolled as degree-seeking students) and non-degree applications are still being accepted for fall.

Applications for spring will be available in September.
