Letter: Many issues matter at C-W port

Bill Ward is running for the position of Camas-Washougal port commissioner. He deserves to be re-elected due to his record of achievement. As our port commissioner he has advanced all the port’s activities. Ward is concerned with the port’s total agenda, not just one issue. It seems like his opponents are more concerned with Grove Field airport rather than any other issue. Grove Field is a small air strip serving local airplane enthusiasts. The port’s support of this facility already exceeds what is justified by its value to the community. My question is “Do we really want the federal government involved in managing Grove Field?” I don’t. If you do, where does it stop?
