Kitzhaber orders flags at half-staff for Hatfield

SALEM, Ore. (AP) -- Gov. John Kitzhaber has ordered all flags at public institutions flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset beginning on Monday in honor of former Oregon Sen. Mark O. Hatfield.
Kitzhaber says the flag tribute will continue until Hatfield is buried.
