Kaiser Permanente Northwest is hosting a free healthy living symposium Saturday titled “We speak baby: Health pregnancy and parenting.”

The event is from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Portland Community College Willow Creek campus, 241 S.W. Edgeway Dr., in Beaverton.

The keynote presentation, “Seven tips for ensuring you have a healthy baby,” will be given by Dr. Suzanne Lubarsky, a Kaiser perinatologist.

Other presentations include “Eating for two: good nutrition during pregnancy” and “Nature’s way: the benefits of breastfeeding and going screen free.”

This is the third installment in Kaiser Permanente’s healthy living symposium series. The fourth, titled “Living successfully with diabetes,” will be held Oct. 29 at Clark College.

All symposiums include clinical consultations, educational resources and updates on the latest in medical research. A complimentary healthy breakfast will be provided.
