Man sentenced for arranging sex for NFL's Taylor

NEW YORK (AP) -- A man who pleaded guilty to arranging a sexual encounter between an underage prostitute and NFL star Lawrence Taylor has been sentenced to seven years in prison in New York.
Before Rasheed (RAH'-sheed) Davis was sentenced Wednesday, the teen told the federal court that the ex-con beat her, then drove her to meet Taylor when she was 16. Cristina Fierro (fee-AIR'-oh) is now 18.
Davis pleaded guilty to transporting a minor for paid sex but has objected to being called a pimp.
The Associated Press doesn't normally publish the name of accusers in sexual assault cases unless they agree to be named or identify themselves publicly, as Fierro has.
Taylor pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges.
He led the New York Giants to Super Bowl titles in 1987 and 1991.
