The noon concerts at Esther Short Park ended on a high note Wednesday as the Misty Mamas, a bluegrass group, played to hundreds of visitors.
The weekly Wednesday concert series began July 6 with the Vancouver Pops Orchestra and included the Key of Dreams, Flexor T, Tom May and Justin Klump.
There was food to be had, dancing to be done and friends to meet unexpectedly as folks gathered for the free concerts.
The weather was perfect Wednesday and, notwithstanding the occasional annoying jet, the concert was a hit.
