Landover-Sharmel — Residents of Bridgewood at Four Seasons Retirement Center were honored to receive a new United States flag from the Vancouver chapter of the Modern Woodmen of America. The donation was part of a nationwide program to benefit community organizations. Modern Woodmen donate flags to fire stations, schools, nursing homes, cemeteries and other community facilities in need of new flags. The local chapter is led by Sherree Filla.
