Father arraigned in Ore. family slaying

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — The southern Oregon man accused of killing his wife and four kids last month and setting the house on fire has been arraigned on aggravated murder and other indictments.

Appearing by video feed from the jail, Jordan Adam Criado said nothing Friday.

Defense attorneys waived a reading of the indictment, and entered no plea for Criado.

Defense attorney Geoff Gokey asked for time to review the evidence, and Judge Lorenzo Menjia set Sept. 22 for the hearing to enter a plea.
