Life sentence for south Seattle stabbings

SEATTLE (AP) — A 25-year-old man faces life in prison without parole when he is sentenced Friday in Seattle for raping and stabbing a lesbian couple at their home, killing Teresa Butz and injuring her partner

Isaiah Kalebu (kuh-LAY’-boo) was convicted July 1 of aggravated murder, attempted murder, rape and burglary for the random 2009 attack at South Park.

King County prosecutors did not seek the death penalty.
