SALEM, Ore. (AP) — The Oregon State Fair has hired 150 temporary workers and is looking for that many more to work the carnival games, rides, food stands and other jobs for the fair that runs from Aug. 26 through Sept. 5.
The Statesman Journal reports (http://bit.ly/r0B6bW) the Oregon Employment Department will set up an office Monday at the Salem fairgrounds to take applications.
The fair typically hires 300 to 400 people.
