NEW BERLIN, N.Y. (AP) — Ryan Villopoto raced to his second victory of the AMA Pro Motocross season, sweeping the 450 Class motos Saturday in the Unadilla National to extend of his points lead.
Villopoto, the Monster Energy Kawasaki rider from Poulsbo, Wash., has a seven-point lead over Ryan Dungey after nine races. Dungey, the Rockstar/Makita Suzuki star from Belle Plaine, Minn., was second in both motos.
In the 250 Class, Scotland’s Dean Wilson helped seal a perfect day for Kawasaki, sweeping both motos for his first victory of the summer.
