GRANITE FALLS, Wash. (AP) — A teenage girl has been airlifted to a hospital after breaking her wrist and hurting her leg in a fall in the Cascade Mountains.

KOMO-TV reports (http://bit.ly/oZrq1N) the 15-year-old was hiking with a church group Saturday afternoon in the Robe Canyon area off Mountain Loop Highway when she slid down an embankment.

The helicopter was brought in due to the rugged terrain.

Her father, Robert Griffin, says she’s in good spirits.
