Portland bank security officer stops suspect

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A security officer caught a man suspected of robbing a Bank of America branch in Portland.

Police say the man had presented a note demanding money and was walking out with the cash Tuesday afternoon when he was confronted and held.

Police say 51-year-old Charles Alexander Biddle also is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service.
