Heavily armed SWAT officers led a raid for stolen property and methamphetamine Tuesday in the Minnehaha area near St. James Road, north of state Highway 500.
The SWAT officers made entry about 3:15 p.m. in the 3300 block of Northeast 49th Street, said Kim Kapp, spokeswoman for the Vancouver Police Department.
The Safe Streets Task Force, which focuses on gang-related crimes, had obtained a search warrant to look for meth and property that was stolen in a recent burglary.
As a result of what officers found, Kristopher L. Ludahl, 19, was taken to the Clark County Jail on suspicion of possessing meth with intent to deliver and possessing stolen firearms, Kapp said.
