Volunteers add house numbers to curbs

First Place — Eight neighborhood volunteers have painted house numbers on the curbs in front of more than 250 houses. Some neighborhood youngsters joined the adult workforce, and 261 houses now have prominent curb numbers. The First Place Neighborhood Association sponsored the project, so there was no cost to homeowners.
