The GB&I team that will try to win back the cup from the Americans does not have anyone over 24. The youngest player is 17-year-old Rhys Pugh.

Lewis opened with a 65 at Royal St. George's to become the first amateur in 43 years to lead the British Open. He tied for 30th and was low amateur by three shots over Uihlein.
