Skydiver dies after Snohomish County WA accident

SNOHOMISH, Wash. (AP) -- The King County medical examiner's office says a 51-year-old Washington skydiver has died after a parachuting accident in Snohomish County.
The man was identified as Cal McKibbon of Lynden.
Battalion Chief Craig Heike with Snohomish County Fire District 4 says something went wrong with the man's chute Thursday afternoon and his reserve chute was tangled. He spiraled to the ground in the Snohomish area.
The man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he died.
