EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — A person familiar with the deal says the home of the Jets and Giants will be called MetLife Stadium.

The source told The Associated Press that MetLife has finalized a deal to buy the naming rights for the $1.6 billion stadium that will be the site of the 2014 Super Bowl. The source asked not to be identified because the agreement between the insurance giant and the NFL teams has not been announced.

The New York Post said the deal was worth $20 million annually for 20 years, although the source told The AP those numbers were inaccurate.

A MetLife spokesman had no comment. Neither did the teams.

Sports Business Daily reported in late June that MetLife was in advanced talks to buy the naming rights for $17 million annually.
