ASTORIA, Ore. (AP) — The Corps of Engineers is beginning annual maintenance dredging Monday at the mouth of the Columbia River.
The Daily Astorian reports (http://bit.ly/qEFo64 ) the dredging is expected to continue through October.
Fishermen should be aware and keep equipment out of areas where the dredge material is placed.
