Bob and Henrietta Meredith, of Camas, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 30 with a surprise outdoor party at their home.

The couple was married July 16, 1961, in Stevenson. Bob worked as a truck driver for CSI for 19 years, while Henrietta worked in the Safeway bakery for 25 years. The couple enjoys attending Sprint car races, sand drags, antique and classic car shows, watching NASCAR and taking their RV to the Oregon Coast.

They have three children, Henry (Carol) Waring of Washougal; Marie (Danny) Jones of Vancouver; Janice (Gary) Henry of Lebanon, Ore.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
