Vancouver police are investigating a suspicious death after a woman was found dead on Saturday morning.
The woman, described as being “in her late 30s,” was found dead in the 600 block of Martin Way on Saturday, Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.
“It is normal procedure for detectives to get involved in any death investigation,” Kapp said in an e-mail. Deaths of young victims without medical issues are generally classified as “suspicious,” she said.
“At this time, there is limited information other than our response and investigation into the incident,” Kapp said.
The case is still ongoing.
