FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Cardinals have signed quarterback Brodie Croyle and waived injured quarterback Max Hall.

The team also signed punter Dave Zastudil and released tackle Jake Vermiglio.

Croyle, who played for Kansas City — mostly as a backup — the last five seasons, was added after backup John Skelton and Hall were injured, leaving Kevin Kolb and Rich Bartel as the team’s only quarterbacks going into Saturday night’s preseason home game against San Diego.

Hall partially dislocated his left shoulder in practice on Monday, the same injury that sidelined him the final four games last season.
