Hudson’s Bay — The School of Piano Technology for the Blind, also known as the Piano Hospital, drew the winners of its Spring Extravaganza Raffle on Aug. 11. The winning tickets were drawn by Melissa Sutton, a member of the executive board for the Miss Clark County Scholarship Organization, who was standing in for Alicia Cooper, Miss Clark County’s Outstanding Teen. First winner Jan Oliva won an iPad2. A Palm Springs vacation went to Andrew Shrader. The raffle, sponsored by Riverview Community Bank, generated over $5,000 for the private, nonprofit school, which trains blind and visually impaired students to work on pianos.
