Contract for BioScience school to be awarded

Evergreen Public Schools board members will hold a special meeting early Thursday to approve a contract bid for construction of the district’s BioScience Academy.
A formal declaration of intent should jump-start activity on the high school site, just north of the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center near the corner of Northeast 92nd Avenue and Eighth Street.
The board meets at 7:30 a.m. in the superintendent’s office, in the Burgundy Complex of the Evergreen administrative service center, 13501 N.E. 28th St.
