EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The Giants and Jets have moved up the starting time of their preseason game to 2 p.m. on Saturday due to the threat of Hurricane Irene.
Giants president and CEO John Mara said Thursday the game was rescheduled so fans would be able to get home safely after the game.
Hurricane Irene was on track to reach the New York area by Sunday.
