PUYALLUP, Wash. (AP) — Investigators are searching the home of a missing Utah woman’s husband and father-in-law, the same day the father-in-law claimed on national television to have had a flirtatious relationship with her.

Susan Cox Powell was last seen at her West Valley City, Utah, home on Dec. 6, 2009. Police identified her husband, Josh, as a person of interest after he claimed to have taken their two boys, then ages 2 and 4, on a midnight camping trip in sub-freezing temperatures that day.

Sheriff’s detective Ed Troyer in Pierce County, Wash., confirmed that investigators are searching the home Josh Powell shares with his father.
