MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Twins left-hander Francisco Liriano left the game against Baltimore on Thursday after the second inning with an apparent injury.

Liriano gave up one run on two hits in two innings. He walked Robert Andino with the bases loaded in the second inning for the only run he allowed.

Liriano walked three and struck out two and was replaced by right-hander Alex Burnett. The Twins did not immediately announce his injury.

It’s the third time in the last five days that a Twins starter hasn’t made it out of the third inning. Nick Blackburn left the game Sunday against the New York Yankees in the second because of a strained forearm.

Brian Duensing was knocked out of the game against Baltimore in the third inning Tuesday night.
