OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Andrea McNamara Doyle has been selected to head the Washington State Public Disclosure Commission.

The agency says McNamara Doyle has 15 years of leadership and management experience in the state legislative and executive branches and two years of private sector legal experience in government relations.

As executive director, she’ll be succeeding Doug Ellis. He has served as the agency’s interim leader since Vicki Rippie’s March 2010 departure.

The executive director oversees the agency’s staff of 20 and makes recommendations to the commission on interpreting and enforcing public disclosure law, among other duties.

McNamara Doyle will be paid $113,000 annually.
