Camas Ridge Apartments manager Linda Brown has been showing prospective tenants around the 51-unit complex developed by the Vancouver Housing Authority. The project will be open to the public during an open house at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The $7.5 million project is located at 1420 N.W. 28th Ave. on Camas’ Prune Hill. Some apartments will rent at market rates and others will be available to people earning 60 percent or less of the area’s median income. At last count, the VHA had a list of 80 families who filled out pre-applications. The Vancouver Housing Authority acts as a redevelopment agency and provides housing for the poor, serving approximately 5,000 Clark County households.
