REDMOND, Ore. (AP) — The high school principal in one of Oregon’s largest school districts has been placed on leave, but officials won’t say why.
The Bend Bulletin reports (http://bit.ly/nPTXx1 ) the Redmond School District is searching for a replacement for Brian Lemos, principal of Redmond High School.
The school district sent out a press release on Friday announcing the decision, but neither the district superintendent nor its human resources director would say why.
Lemos worked as a principal for the Crook County School District for nine years before joining the Redmond district in 2009. In 2010 he took over as principal at the high school.
