SEATTLE (AP) -- A doctor accused of killing his partner and their 2-year-old son faces arraignment Monday in Seattle on aggravated murder charges.
The King County prosecutor will decide whether to seek the death penalty against 39-year-old Louis C. Chen. He's accused of stabbing 29-year-old Eric A. Cooper and 2-year-old Cooper Chen. Their bodies were found Aug. 11 at their home in a high rise apartment on Seattle's First Hill.
Chen is an endocrinologist who recently moved to Seattle from Durham, N.C., to work at a medical center. He's being held without bail in the King County Jail.
