VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) -- A body recovered from the Columbia River has been identified as that of a 45-year-old Camas, Wash., man.
The Columbian reports (http://bit.ly/oL062C) that Carl Lacour jumped off a boat near Jantzen Beach and presumably drowned Aug. 21. A Hayden Island resident spotted his body last Thursday and Portland Fire & Rescue crews recovered it.
The Multnomah County, Ore., medical examiner's office identified the body and says drowning was the cause of death.
