Fisher building is named a ‘Top Project’

SR-14 improvements are also recognized

A five-story building in Northwest Camas is among the “Top Projects,” in the Clark County area.

The Fisher Investments structure at 5525 N.W. Fisher Creek Drive will be occupied this fall. The first four floors will be filled by the 325 workers from Fisher Investments’ satellite office in Vancouver. It is the first of two planned buildings in the $30 million office complex project.

In June, it was announced that Fisher planned to build two additional 30,000 square foot buildings.

The Fisher Creek Campus, Building A, was recognized Thursday, during a Top Projects and Building Excellence awards reception.

Other “Top Projects” included the State Route 14 Cape Horn safety project and the SR-14 interchange, as well as the artillery barracks remodel at Fort Vancouver, Bella Ridge, Cinetopia at Vancouver Mall and the Clark County Food Bank.

Honorees also included a renovation at the Washington State School for the Blind, Luke Jensen Sports Park, Maletis Beverage, in Vancouver; Mount Vista Estates, Northeast 18th Street Improvements, Salmon Creek Interchange, State Route 500 and St. Johns Blvd. interchange, The Source Climbing Center, Vista Court Senior Housing and the Vancouver City Hall relocation.

The “Top Projects” were presented by the Vancouver Business Journal.

“Building Excellence Awards” were presented by the Building Industry Association of Clark County at the same reception.

The BIA honorees included Doriot Construction, of Washougal; Soaring Eagle Homes, of Camas; TBH & Associates, Tamarack Homes, Pacific Lifestyle Homes, Vick Landscaping, G2 Outdoor Living/Kyne Landscaping, Nicole Helene Designs, Designers Northwest, Inc., and Spacemaster Construction & Remodeling.
