WA attorney general addressing sex ad issue

SEATTLE (AP) — Washington Attorney General Rob McKenna has called a news conference in Seattle Wednesday to make an announcement about Backpage.com, the business that places escort ads in the Seattle Weekly.

McKenna may be joining a campaign that accuses the business of enabling underage sex trafficking.

Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn has withdrawn city ads from the paper and is insisting the business take steps to ensure that women in the ads are adults.
