Mountain View —Fifty four Mountain View High School football players, cheerleaders, coaches and parents got down and dirty Aug. 23 to benefit the Clark County Food Bank. They weeded 10-plus acres of carrots at Clark County’s 78th Street Heritage Farm. Every year, the farm produces many thousands of pounds of vegetables — especially carrots — for people in need. The veggies are distributed through the central Clark County Food Bank, which supplies many food pantries in the area.
