A 63-year-old Amboy man was sent to the hospital after crashing a motorcycle on Interstate 205 Thursday morning.
William A. Joy was driving a 2005 Honda motorcycle on I-205 south from state Highway 500 just after 10:30 a.m. when he slowed rapidly because of traffic, laying his bike down, a Washington State Patrol release said.
Joy was sent to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center with a head injury. He was listed in satisfactory condition on Thursday afternoon, hospital spokesman Ken Cole said.
He was ticketed for following too close, the release said.
